Volunteer With Us
Our research and outreach work is powered entirely by volunteers. We need people with a range of skills — from genealogical research to cemetery visits to family outreach.
Archival Researcher
Search military service records, pension files, and burial registries at the National Archives, Ancestry, and Fold3 to verify veteran service and locate graves.
Field Volunteer
Visit local cemeteries to document unmarked graves, photograph burial sites, and confirm burial locations identified by our research team.
Family Outreach Coordinator
Help locate and contact surviving family members of identified veterans, and guide them through the VA headstone application process.
State Chapter Lead
Organize and lead volunteer efforts in your state, coordinate with local historical societies and veterans' organizations, and represent Operation Final Salute in your community.
